Combining together my years of experience as a professional playwright and dramtaurg largely influences my directorial work. With a passion for higher-education and community engagement, when I direct I work to serve all involved to the best of my artistic ability. From directing students on the graduate and undergraduate level to working closely with education depratments, I create more than a production; I strive to create an experience. I center my approach to directing through my experience and facilitation background as a cultural worker. Asking myself "how can I create the freest places for this story to be born and then shared". Whether regional theaters, college campuses or in the room developing new works, I love bringing life from the page to the stage.
