cultural worker
"Cultural worker has a moral positioning embedded into it, as well as an inherent accountability. To call oneself a cultural worker, as opposed to a creative, is to essentially say that your labor, or at least a particular fraction of it, occurs with the intention to uphold a certain culture."

As a cultural worker I am imagining futures of complete equity and justice within the arts and cultural community. I work with a focus on integrating strong strategies that include awareness of and the codification of equitable Black culture. From facilitating workshops and trainings to plenary speaking, clients range from grantmakers, nonprofit organization to presenting institutions. Since 2013, I have been designing tailor-made solutions to clients to ensure their goals are met and communities served. My goal is help design programs and supports that strengthen the value add of the impact of my clients.
